About Me

Hi, I am Malinda Bilbrey. I am Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT). I reside and own a practice in Southern California. I have been basically trained in EMDR since 2020. I am currently in the certification process and I have 3 different CIT's in which I currently work with on a on-going basis. My practice is almost 100% EMDR including IFS and with a sprinkle of other therapy models, in whatever my client needs at the time to be helpful. My niche is complex trauma but I have wide range of experience utilizing EMDR protocols such as smoking cessation, weight loss and urges, eating disorders, car accidents and single events, phobias & OCD, infertility, relationship conflicts, including domestic violence, racial trauma and bereavement and grief just to name a few. I have 2 dogs, we go on long walks to the beach on the weekends. I enjoy spending time with friends, colleagues and family when I have the opportunity. I love reading and learning new things. I also enjoy meeting and learning about others and their cultures. I am a big supporter in people wanting to show up authentically for themselves in whatever way they want.
