Mrs. Mallory Rigby, LMHC
About Me
I am a seasoned therapist who always approaches treatment from a trauma informed lens, while being strength based and client-centered. I am a fully-licensed therapist in Washington (LMHC). I work full-time in a community mental health setting and also have a small private practice. I utilize EMDR in both settings, and incorporate additional skills I have with DBT and Grief as I find the right EMDR protocols for my clients. Most of my clients are neurodivergent and I identify as such also. I do individual therapy with adults who are experiencing grief, anxiety, and depression from trauma, including invalidation often experienced by those with ADHD/Autism. My goal is to help clients feel empowered and regain control of their lives. I approach therapy with empathy and a deep respect for the unique journey each person is on, and I believe that EMDR offers a powerful tool for processing trauma and moving forward. I’m dedicated to creating a safe, non-judgmental space for healing.
Education & Experience
MA in Counseling (2015), completed EMDR basic training and consultation 2021. Also trained in DBT and Grief Counseling. Clinical Supervisor overseeing 8-10 clinicians, 4 of which are EMDR trained and working toward certification. I have worked with dozens of clients utilizing EMDR to see significant changes in their daily lives and functioning.
