Mandy Lengerich, MSW, LCSW
About Me
My work emphasizes emotional and nervous system regulation, a deeper connection to self and others, and a state of sturdiness. I am a lifelong learner and practice holistic and individual approach to mental health, incorporating expressive/creative arts, mindfulness techniques, and somatic experiences into sessions, when appropriate. I strive to provide an environment that feels safe and compassionate. It is a privilege to sit alongside someone as they work towards healing and growth. I am a Christian and love incorporating faith into counseling sessions when that is desired by the client.
Education & Experience
I earned a Bachelor of Social Work from Taylor University, Fort Wayne, where I applied seeking to work in a helping profession! I hold a Master of Social Work from Indiana University and am licensed as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Indiana. I also hold a certificate in Educational Neuroscience from Butler University. I have also trained in IFS Informed EMDR through the Syzygy Institute.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I am a member of the Association for Play Therapy (APT), Emdria, and the American Association for Christian Counselors (AACC)
