About Me
I am the third of a family of 10 children, I had the opportunity to get to know distant and different cultures. I learned from my parents curiosity, respect and care for the health and needs of others. I love the arts, tuning in and observing the answers within myself and in the other. I started my studies in Physics, during my Master's I changed my path to Psychology, I created self-regulation games and complementary managements to EMDR for complex PTSD symptoms and I feel happy to investigate objective results with the cardiology department of a faculty of medicine.
Education & Experience
Psychologist, PhD in Health Sciences, she is an EMDR Approved Trainer in EMDR and Continuing Education Teacher and Family Therapist. Today, she is doing a postdoc at the Faculty of Medicine (FAMERP), where EMDR was first admitted an academic study. Vice-President of the Brazilian EMDR Association, where she created the research center and opened courses to encourage research on EMDR. Since 2007 she has been developing the Safety Platform protocol, presented at several conferences in Europe and EMDRIA.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
Psychologist, EMDR trainer, Couples and Family therapist, volunteer in humanitarian aid, in catastrophe situations and natural and man-made disasters, volunteer in domestic violence at the Women's Police Station and in Restorative Justice, assisting women at risk individually and groups of men away from home by protective measure, with the EMDR-Safety Platform protocol, of my authorship. Affiliations: EMDR Brazilian Association, EMDRIA, ABRATF, LAC y Caribe.
