Roe Sanchez, LMFT
Preferred Name: Roe
About Me
I believe that healing involves addressing different aspects of wellness such as mental, emotional, spiritual, physical and relational. I incorporate trauma informed practices in my sessions because I am aware that a history of experiencing distressing events play a huge part in how people respond in the present. I also encourage clients to identify their strengths and highlight this in our work of building coping strategies. I intuitively work from a Christian worldview but can work well with others who have different views.
Education & Experience
I earned my master's degree in Counseling Psychology from California State University Bakersfield. I have worked in different settings in the past 12 years. I have worked in community mental health, schools and private practice. I currently have a private practice that is physically located in Bakersfield, CA. However, I can see anyone who resides in CA via telehealth as well.
