About Me
I am highly motivated and passionate about my work. I have been practicing EMDR since 2010 and have found it to be an important aspect of treatment for many people. I also have training in Somatic Experience therapy, and often incorporate this modality, as well as attachment focused, somatic therapy and emotionally focused therapy. I come with an open heart and inquisitive mind, always looking for clues to facilitate the resolution of the challenges that you may be facing. Hablo Espanol! Education & Experience
I have a Master of Arts degree from USF and have worked in a community mental health clinic, and at Kaiser Permanente. I am currently in private practice. I have extensive experience with adults, children and families, with specialization in trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, grief and stress.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I am currently adjunct professor at the University of San Francisco and also serve as student advisor. I teach Trauma/Crisis counseling and supervise students and their work in the field that is required for graduation. This brings me great joy, as I witness the new fledgling therapists taking flight! What a privilege!
