Education & Experience

I am a licensed therapist and a register art therapist. I use a combination of EMDR and expressive arts therapy to heal traumatic wounds. Many of the folks I work with are dealing with... relationship and family issues history of trauma or other emotional difficulties such as anxiety, depression, self harm and suicidal ideation, and stress navigating life transitions: grief and loss, career changes, change in family dynamics, life transitions, as well as identity discovery/change child and teen issues: including at school, home and/or in the community (non-compliance, tantrums, communication difficulties, acting out, self harm) LGBTQ-related issues: support around sexual identity, transgender transitions (reassignment surgery, name change process, advocacy), and HIV/AIDS identity and empowerment
