About Me
Hi, I’m Emily! I help people navigate difficult phases of life so they can feel grounded, confident, and connected to their best selves. While I honor each person’s unique story, I also take a holistic approach recognizing that who we are is shaped by our cultures, communities, identities, and the systems around us. I am especially passionate about supporting individuals who have recently moved to the United States and are adjusting to a new cultural landscape. Whether you’re coping with transitions, relationship stress, or identity shifts, my goal is to create a warm, collaborative space where you feel understood and empowered.
Education & Experience
I received my Bachelor's degree from Clemson University in South Carolina and my Master's degree from Boston College in Massachusetts. I have spent most of my career working with immigrant families and specifically supporting healthy processing and integration of traumatic memories. I am trilingual (English, Spanish, and French) and am able to effectively do sessions in both English and Spanish as I participated in the Latino Leadership Initiative at Boston College. I have been formally trained in EMDR, Narrative Therapy, and TF-CBT all of which I continually use depending on different client needs and preferences. I have also received trainings in and integrate Internal Family Systems and Motivational Interviewing into the above modalities mentioned.
