About Me

My name is Mauro Angel Peña, M.Ed., LPC. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience working with individuals and families, particularly those impacted by trauma. My approach is trauma-informed and client-centered, with a strong emphasis on building trust, safety, and empowerment. I specialize in working with trauma through EMDR and have extensive experience supporting clients referred by Child Protective Services, including those facing challenges related to domestic violence, parenting, emotional regulation, and stress. I understand that life can be busy and complicated, which is why I’m committed to being accessible to my clients. I offer flexible scheduling and am eager to work with clients after hours and on weekends to ensure they get the support they need, when they need it.
