Mrs. Meaghan Heighway, LMHC
(She/her)
Preferred Name: Meg
About Me
I have a diverse background in helping others reach their goals, and would be honored to come alongside you, working together to meet yours. As a person with a physical disability, I have had intimate experience with what it means to have life appear limited to certain parameters. My exposure to medical trauma and recovery helped me decide that I wanted to work with others who have experienced profound pain.
Education & Experience
I have my Master's from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY and have been licensed since 2015. I have a wide variety of experience, including people with disabilities, anxiety disorders, spiritual and existential issues, grief and self harm. Prior to working at Be Embodied I was a part of Best Self of WNY, Spectrum Human Services, Kenmore Mercy Hospital, and also ran a private practice.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I am a professional member of the American Counselors Association.
