Meg Simmons, LCSW

About Me

In my 20 years working as a master’s level clinician, I have been awed by the diversity of experiences and strengths of those I have had the privilege to work with. We all go through difficult times in our lives in which we find ourselves stuck and unhappy. It is a part of being human and living life. There is no shame in reaching out for help. In fact, it is a very courageous thing to do. I hope you will feel my genuine empathy and respect for your decision to enter therapy. We are all on a life long journey of self discovery, myself included. I am excited to be given an opportunity to be a part of yours!

Education & Experience

I have a Masters in Social Work from Catholic University of America. I worked for 10 years in the addictions and community mental health field and have been in private practice since 2012.
