About Me
Megan brings extensive counseling experience across a range of clinical settings, including outpatient therapy, community-based services, day treatment, residential programs, inpatient hospitalization, and partial hospitalization programs. In these roles, she has provided individual, family, and group therapy, as well as supervision, education, and therapeutic oversight within diverse milieu environments. Megan practices from a cognitive-behavioral, trauma-informed and client-centered framework, emphasizing collaboration and the therapeutic relationship to support meaningful change. She has significant experience working with trauma-related symptoms and has received advanced training in trauma-informed care. Megan is a Certified EMDR Therapist and a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Specialist (PMH-C). She primarily works with older adolescents and adults experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, trauma- and stress-related symptoms, depression, anxiety, and those struggling with relational challenges.
Education & Experience
Megan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the states of Wyoming, Montana and Arkansas and a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Specialist (PMH-C). She earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado and her Master of Social Work from Walla Walla University. Megan has several years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and groups across a variety of clinical settings. She is an active member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and serves on the board for Postpartum Support International (PSI). ***Telehealth only for Montana and Arkansas residents.
