About Me
I am a passionate social worker that enjoys helping others through challenging life circumstances. I value the therapeutic relationship with establishing trust and connection as the foundation in the healing process. I enjoy taking a pause to slow down and breathe when life becomes overwhelming and allowing opportunities to be present in the moment.
Education & Experience
I have a Masters of Social work and I am an Independently Licensed Social Worker. I entered the field of social work in 2014 as a victim advocate and received specialized training working with populations that experienced sexual trauma, IPV, child abuse, human trafficking and traumatic grief/loss. I then began working in college counseling and enjoyed working with young adults to support them in life transition, relationship stress, managing anxiety, LGBTQIA+ issues, depression and developing task management skills. I have further training in CBT, EMDR, IFS, and mindfulness practices.
