Education & Experience
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington. I have a BA in Child Development and Psychology and a Master in Social Work from Eastern Washington University. I worked in the field of Child Welfare since 2005 and left to start private practice in 2022, although I still do offer in-home support services to families who have adopted from the foster care system. I base my therapy practice in trauma-aware practices and have been trained in several trauma-informed modalities and curricula, such as Trust Based Relational Interventions as well as EMDR. I have many years of experience working with families who have experienced adversity, compassion fatigue, secondary trauma, and behavioral concerns.
