About Me

When I was younger and felt alone amid life's messiness and uncertainty, I relied on others’ optimistic interpretations of the world as sources of strength. One of Dr. Seuss's quotes resonated with me then and even more today: “Whether you color the world or light it up blue, you are making a difference. So keep being YOU.” These inspirations rescued me from confusion, infused relevance in my life, and encouraged me to value and honor every part of who I am. It influenced me to champion that acceptance in others... in you. So let me reassure you: It requires great strength to be here and hold space for your intrinsic worth; your courage doesn't go unnoticed. This safe environment is meant for you to expand beyond perceived limits and embrace a more authentic version of yourself, one you can accept wholeheartedly. However, sometimes your worth can be hard to see through the heavy weight of anxiety, the depths of depression, or the isolating effects of neurodivergence; it can feel like emotional paralysis as everyone else continues to rush around you. Regardless of why you are here reading this today, this may be precisely where you belong. So, if you have just one takeaway, please hear this: your struggles are valid; you're not alone. We're in this together.

Education & Experience

I obtained my graduate training from CACREP-accredited programs, including a Master of Science in School Counseling from Syracuse University, and a Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University. I am also board-certified in clinical mental health counseling.
