About Me
Hi there, I'm Michelle! My name is Michelle Payton and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker whose passion is for helping clients overcome feelings of anxiety and depression through understanding the root of these emotions and working through their trauma, big or small. As a therapist with an additional background as a certified personal trainer, I work with clients who are open and interested in understanding the importance of mind and body health and are motivated for change.
Education & Experience
I graduated with my Bachelors in Psychology and Minor in Law from Chapman University and shortly after received my Masters of Social Work from California State University, Fullerton. What sets my approach apart is my fusion of expertise as a certified personal trainer. I understand the deep connection between mind and body health and am here to guide you towards embracing positive change. With a background spanning various mental health contexts including Outpatient treatment, Residential Treatment, Correctional Mental Health, and School-Based Programs, I bring a wealth of experience to our partnership.
