About Me
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Washington and currently hold a private practice serving Veterans, First Responders, Professionals, and those of a faith base background. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and love helping people. Each person is unique and deserves personalized care. I use a holistic approach to meet the needs of each individual. I specialize in PTSD, trauma, grief, issues that interfere in life and relationships. I have worked with military, first responders, professionals, and faith based individuals. I am passionate in seeing people free from their wounds of the past, and have a great compassion for those who are hurting to find hope and healing for the future. I offer a safe, relational, caring environment where you will feel connected and validated..
Education & Experience
I have been a professional counselor for over 20 years and I have always enjoyed helping, supporting and encouraging people. I have worked in community mental health for a number of years, have also managed and supervised therapists in practice and interns as well, and have worked with the military community for the past thirteen years. I have also worked with First Responders. I received my counseling degree in 2001 and attended what was then called Western Seminary. The name then changed to Mars Hill Graduate School and has now changed to The Seattle School Psychology and Theology.
