EMDRIA Certified Therapist™

Online Therapy

About Me

I am an EMDRIA-certified therapist who believes deeply in the human capacity to heal, even after experiences that feel overwhelming or life-altering. Many of the clients I work with come to therapy feeling stuck—aware of how their past has shaped them, yet frustrated that insight alone hasn’t brought the relief they’re seeking. My role is to help create a space where healing feels possible, supported, and safe. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful approach because it allows us to work with the parts of the brain where distressing experiences are stored. Rather than reliving the past or endlessly talking about it, EMDR helps the nervous system process what happened so it no longer carries the same emotional charge. I often use EMDR to support clients dealing with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, panic, grief, adverse childhood experiences, and negative beliefs about themselves that developed in response to difficult life events. My approach is warm, collaborative, and paced with care. I prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship and ensuring clients feel grounded and in control throughout the EMDR process. I believe healing happens best when clients feel genuinely seen, respected, and empowered to move at a pace that feels right for them.

Education & Experience

I hold a strong foundation in clinical training and ongoing education, and I am committed to practicing from an evidence-based, trauma-informed perspective. I have completed extensive training in EMDR and continue to pursue advanced learning to deepen my understanding of trauma, the nervous system, and effective treatment approaches. My education informs my work, but it is always balanced with compassion, curiosity, and respect for each client’s lived experience. I hold a master's degree in counseling, and am certified in EMDR, and trained in ERP, CBT, DBT, Gottman Method for couples, and more.
