About Me
I help individuals and couples reach their mental health goals and step into fuller, more authentic lives. Many of my clients begin therapy feeling weighed down by low self-worth—and leave with a greater sense of calm, clarity, and confidence. It's incredible to witness the shift that happens when someone moves from "I'm broken" to "I'm worthy just as I am." That transformation is powerful and deeply personal. Clients often share that their racing thoughts have quieted, they feel more at ease, and for the first time, they are experiencing true contentment. I offer a trauma-informed approach grounded in EMDR, an evidence-based treatment for trauma. What I love about EMDR is that is doesn't require clients to relive every painful detail. Instead, it gives their brain the space to heal naturally and reframe the experience in a healthier way—that often means reclaiming their identity with pride, not shame. Helping people feel seen, accepted, and empowered is an honor. I believe you are the expert of your experience. My role is to walk alongside you—offering tools and building trust. I create a warm, nonjudgmental space to explore thoughts, emotions, and body-based experiences with care, curiosity, and connection to self and community. The relationship between the client and therapist is essential in therapy. I aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where we can explore the rich inner world of thoughts, feelings, and sensations. Clients are the experts of their lived experience, and therapy is an investment in one's success and empowerment. I believe in the transformative power of honoring the mind and body—to heal and connect deeply with oneself and one's community—which I bring into the therapeutic process.
Education & Experience
With a strong foundation in the arts and education, I bring over 15 years of experience supporting individuals in achieving their personal and therapeutic goals. I am trained in EMDR and a range of somatic modalities, which I integrate into my practice to address trauma and support holistic healing. My educational background allows me to apply evidence-based, person-centered approaches that are culturally sensitive and tailored to each client’s unique needs.
