About Me
As a therapist, I hope to walk along with you to overcome the difficult times and trials. Therapy can offer a safe place to help us decrease emotional stress, understand how our past affects us today, and help us to develop the tools to move forward. I am a licensed Creative Arts Therapist with 4 years of clinical experience and specialize in the treatment of trauma, depression, anxiety and stress, low self-esteem and relationship difficulties. I strive to be genuine, developing positive relationships so I can be a partner in your healing process.
Education & Experience
In my last 5 years of practice, I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of individuals in both a residential program for veterans and in a community health clinic. In working with hundreds of different individuals with complex trauma, co-occurring diagnoses, and a large variety of other diagnoses, I have come to utilize an eclectic style in therapy. I hope to tailor sessions to each individual using a variety of techniques including talk-therapy, non-verbal therapies (EMDR), and art-based techniques. In this difficult time, I hope to offer a unique way to receive therapy from the safety of your own home.
