Nicole Fischenich, LICSW, PMH-C
(She/Her)
About Me
I provide a warm, supportive space for individuals navigating the emotional challenges of the perinatal period, parenthood and adoption. My approach integrates cognitive behavioral therapy, mind-body techniques and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients heal from trauma, manage distressing thoughts and emotions, and build healthier relationships. My style is collaborative, nonjudgmental and attuned to the emotional depth and complexity of your journey. Whether you are facing the intensity of early parenthood or exploring the long-term impact of adoption, I offer practical tools, emotional support, and a trauma-informed path toward healing. Nicole has a special interest and background in supporting adoptive parents and adoptees throughout their journeys. She has personal experience as a sibling to an adopted brother.
