Nicole Ohebshalom, LPCC, is a licensed psychotherapist and EMDRIA-certified therapist and approved consultant serving clients in Palo Alto, Los Altos Hills, and surrounding Peninsula communities. She integrates EMDR with Emotionally Focused Couples and Individual Therapy (EFT), Sex Therapy, maternal mental health, and Deep Brain Reorientation for individuals and couples seeking lasting transformation. Her approach is directive, relational, and informed by neuroplasticity, helping clients move beyond symptom relief toward meaningful change in anxiety, relational trauma, and intimacy concerns. Education & Experience
She obtained her Master’s degree at New York University with an additional certification at NYU in an interdisciplinary program in trauma and violence. She was trained at Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy’s Trauma Studies program. She holds certifications in Emotionally Focused Couples and Individual Therapy, PSI maternal mental health and Sex Therapist (AASECT). She has a PhD in Human Sexuality.
