About Me
I approach therapy with the belief that every person is a unique and valuable part of the community and world. I will help you to explore where you are disconnected from yourself or from the world around you; how to notice your strengths, and increase your sense of connection, identity, and belonging.
Education & Experience
I completed my M.Ed. in Counseling Psychology at Temple University and have experience working in community mental health, at a domestic/intimate partner violence safe haven and crisis line, and in a non-profit supporting immigrant and refugee clients as they developed their careers and social networks. I have extensive training in how trauma (such as sexual abuse, loss and abandonment, complex and early childhood trauma, and domestic and intimate partner violence) impacts people and communities. I am newly trained in EMDR and finding that it is a critical tool to help people feel empowered along their journey to heal deep wounds and know themselves better.
