About Me
I accept new clients for short-term adjunct treatment only and who already have a primary therapist, but are seeking EMDR therapy to target issues related to trauma, anxiety, and/or eating or body image issues. Typical maximum length of treatment would be approximately 3 months. Depending on the individual's needs, I use different therapeutic interventions, including EMDR, Mindfulness, IFS (Internal Family Systems,), psychoeducation, coping skills training, mind-body interventions. My approach is trauma-informed and a HAES (Health at Every Size) orientation. My strong belief is that good therapy should strive to help people improve their ability to regulate their nervous system, improve self-understanding, and self-curiosity, and develop a sense of balance in daily life.
