About Me

I am a social worker at heart and see client issues through a trauma lens. I believe in partnering with my clients to help unveil patterns that have held them back from what they have wanted for years.

Education & Experience

I have a bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana and a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois Chicago. I have worked with children, families and adults for over 20 years. I am currently in private practice specializing in addiction, trauma and first responder behavioral health. I see mostly adults but will see older teens.

Professional & Volunteer Affiliations

The mission of my practice is to not only offer clients direct services but also to foster the professional development of other therapists to increase the strength in the helping community. I am also pursuing interest in prevention of trauma driven mental health issues.
