About Me

Rachel Meirink is a Licensed Professional Counselor who holds compassion and care for clients. She is an EMDR Consultant-In-Training and well as EMDR Certified and utilizes other skills such as Interpersonal Neurobiology, Attachment Theory, DBT, CBT, Christian Counseling and Spiritual Direction. Rachel works with both individual adult and adolescent clients (16yo+) and gives them the tools and resources they need to reach the goals they desire. Rachel has a heart to help people heal and find the fullness of life that they were created for. Her approach is that in healing the wounds in the soul that were developed from childhood on as well as provide tools to navigate the present, a person can start to find health, wholeness and more satisfaction in life. Everyone goes through pain, trauma, or feels stuck at some point in their life. Rachel would love to come alongside you, and be a compassionate support as you find the strength and courage to work through struggles and pain, confront negative beliefs and move towards wholeness. Rachel's background includes facilitating groups and individual counseling at: a boys and girls club, a residential treatment center for eating disorders, a trauma center and a Christian group counseling practice. She also has volunteer experience with missions work around the world supporting: anti-trafficking, homeless communities, orphanages, war-torn cities, and disaster relief work.
