Rachelle Dunn, LPC

EMDRIA Certified Therapist™

Online Therapy

About Me

My goal is to provide a safe and compassionate space where you can explore your story, gain clarity, and move toward peace—both within yourself and in your relationships. Together, we’ll explore patterns, build insight, and develop practical tools for healing and resilience. Each session is tailored to meet you where you are, drawing from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including EMDR, CBT, DBT, and family systems—always tailoring therapy to meet each person’s unique needs and goals. I can also integrate Christian counseling for clients who are interested in a faith-based approach. I offer both online therapy and equine-assisted psychotherapy. Online sessions are available to residents of Virginia and North Carolina, and may also be available to clients in other states or countries, depending on local counseling regulations. Equine-assisted psychotherapy sessions take place at a therapeutic equestrian facility in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Education & Experience

With more than 27 years of counseling individuals and families, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people from many backgrounds through life’s challenges and seasons of growth. I’ve witnessed the remarkable resilience people can show and the healing that can happen when they feel seen, supported, and understood. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's Degree in Counseling and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. I am certified in EMDR and PCIT and am an EAGALA certified mental health professional and a PATH certified equine specialist (ESMHL).
