Rae Cuffe, LCSW

About Me

Rae Cuffe is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Miami, FL who sees children, teens, adults across the lifespan, families, and couples. She specializes in working IN PERSON with complex post-traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD) including early attachment trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), the full spectrum of dissociative disorders including Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), parenting, and couples counseling. She also has extensive experience working with individuals with personality disorders, in addition to working with members of the LGBTQIA community. Rae has extensive experience utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and uses it frequently when working with clients with a history of trauma. She also has a background in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), which she uses to teach clients how to become more stabilized and grounded. In addition, Rae works through the lens of Internal Family Systems (IFS) when clients have a hard time accessing deep-rooted feelings. When working with children, Rae focuses primarily on emotional literacy and attachment-based work. She engages couples utilizing the concepts and practical tools of the Gottman Method.
