Rani Gupta, LCSW
(she/her)
About Me
*I'm currently accepting new clients! Please visit my website for more information: therapywithrani.com* I’m Rani, and I use she/her pronouns. I’m a cis biracial (Indian and Spanish) woman who lives with an active chronic illness. I work with adults who are people of color and multiracial people addressing frustrating, confusing, or possibly even traumatizing patterns in their relationships or at work. I work best with people who are in touch with their emotions, “high achievers” (looking at you, my fellow “pleasure to have in class” people!), and ready to do the work of self-exploration.
Education & Experience
Boston University, B.S. Portland State University, MSW LCSW in Oregon Since 2013, I’ve worked in the field of social work. In the past, I’ve worked with elders who were either blind or visually impaired, with students at a university counseling center, with teens and young adults experiencing first-episode psychosis, with adults experiencing the intersections of houselessness, drug use, and significant mental health symptoms, and with trans and nonbinary adults at an organization specifically focused on providing mental health services to trans and nonbinary community. Additionally, I provided clinical supervision for cis, trans, and nonbinary clinicians of color.
