About Me

Perhaps you are feeling overwhelmed by difficult emotions. Maybe your past continues to live in your present and the future seems out of reach. In the nurturing space I provide, you can face the emotions and experiences that may be too painful to face on your own. Together, we can work through the pain of the past, unlocking doorways to self-acceptance and improved relationships with yourself and others. I use traditional talk therapy along with EMDR, a therapy technique used to work through traumatic memories. With children, I use play therapy, where kids can express themselves using their innate and non-verbal language of play.

Education & Experience

I earned a Master of Social Work from New York University, am a Registered Play Therapist and am certified in EMDR. I have been practicing psychotherapy for over 15 years. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Earth & Environmental Science from Wesleyan University. I provide free EMDR based therapy to post-9/11 veterans through the Headstrong Project.
