Robin L. Goldstein-Lincoln, LPCC
About Me
Over the last 25 years working with children, adolescents and adults, I have developed a highly individualized and multimodal approach that is resource focused and strengths based. I have a particular interest and expertise in trauma resolution, grief and loss, life transitions, and autoimmune illnesses, including Type 1 diabetes and celiac disease.
Education & Experience
With a passion for education and counseling, I completed an M.A. in Education from the University of Denver in 1994 and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Colorado in 1996. I worked initially as a middle school counselor, and then as a staff psychotherapist and parent educator at a community counseling center. I have been working in private practice with children, adolescents and adults since 2005. An avid learner, I continue to explore new ways to facilitate awareness and empowerment in the clients I am honored to work with. I am a licensed psychotherapist in California and Colorado,, a Certified EMDR Therapist, a Certified Grief Educator, a parent consultant, and a graduate of Boulder’s Hakomi Institute for Experiential Psychotherapy. I regularly attend trainings in trauma resolution, grief and loss, attachment, mindfulness, body-centered therapy, and ego state therapy.
