Sabrina Herman, LICSW
About Me
Throughout my 25+ years of clinical work, I have considered myself first and foremost a co-facilitator to an individual's healing. Through compassionate witness and the holding of a warm and non-judgmental space, I strive to support each client's move towards equilibrium and health. I believe that we all have the potential for healing and self-actualization. My work embodies a holistic and eclectic approach to facilitate that balance in each individual. I am a trauma-informed individual psychotherapist. Methods include EMDR, Progressive Counting, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Family Systems, Psychodrama, Expressive Arts, Body-Mind Centering and Somatics. I facilitate support groups and am trained to work with folx struggling with Perinatal/postpartum mood disorders. My focus: depression, anxiety, perinatal/postpartum mood disorders and birth trauma, miscarriage, and stillbirth. I work with issues related to transgender and non-binary folx as well. I welcome the opportunity to be a witness to your life's story and a co-facilitator to your striving for a more balanced life.
