Education & Experience

My undergraduate focus was in ethnographic research with Pacific Coastal Tribes and counseling psychology through The Evergreen State College. I have been certified to treat addiction since 2000 and have worked both outpatient and residential settings. I completed my Masters of Social Work through the University of Washington, later going on to obtain additional credentials in palliative care and grief and loss through the University of Worcester in the United Kingdom. I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2010. I often contract directly with Tribes to deliver services on site (trauma/addiction) in a variety of areas due to my familiarity with a number of these communities in the region. I have served as a program director and clinical supervisor, in addition to completing 3 year long DBT intensives over the last 20 years. I completed my initial EMDR certification in 2018 and have continued to pursue additional EMDR specific trainings & consultation to enhance my cross cultural practice applications.
