About Me

The decision to seek therapeutic help is never an easy one. Sometimes life can feel as if we are treading water just to keep afloat. I have been using EMDR to help with those who struggle with anxiety, combat trauma, depression, and childhood trauma, just to name a few. I currently offer 1-1 online therapy sessions to adults 18+ who are veterans, military personnel, spouses or anyone who is connected to someone that is or has been in the military, or working frontlines in the serving field. I also work well with healthcare workers, law enforcement, and adult children of immigrants. I have been doing EMDR online successfully (via HIPAA compliant platforms) since the pandemic started in 2020. Coming from a military family myself, I understand the unique challenges the military face and have made it my mission to provide online counseling that is safe, accessible, and convenient. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from North Carolina serving clients across the states of Alaska and Virginia. I take on a holistic and integrative lens focusing on mind-body connections, teaching clients skills, building strengths, and making sense of past life events to help gain clarity. Outside of therapy, I am usually hanging out with my husband, hiking, traveling to a new place, or snuggling with my dog!
