Thank you!** The decision to seek therapeutic help is never an easy one. Sometimes life can feel as if we are treading water just to keep afloat. I have been using EMDR to help with those who struggle with anxiety, combat trauma, depression, and childhood trauma, just to name a few. I currently offer 1-1 online therapy sessions to adults 18+ particularly veterans, military personnel, spouses, and anyone connected to the military or working on the frontlines. Coming from a military family myself, I understand the unique challenges the military face. I also have extensive experience supporting healthcare workers and law enforcement professionals. I am also passionate about helping individuals navigate family origin issues and overcome generational trauma. It is my mission to provide online counseling that is safe, accessible, and convenient. Since the start of the pandemic in 2020, I have been successfully conducting EMDR therapy online (via HIPAA compliant platforms). I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) serving clients across the states of Alaska and Virginia. I take on a holistic and integrative approach focusing on mind-body connections, teaching clients skills, building on their strengths, and making sense of past life events to help gain clarity. Outside of therapy, I am usually hanging out with my husband, hiking, traveling to a new place, or snuggling with my dogs!
