About Me
I am a Registered Social Worker with 14 years of practice experience. I welcome people with a wide range of mental health and substance use issues. Grounded in a client-centered, recovery-oriented, and trauma-informed approach, I strive to engage people in a journey of self-awareness and reflective action to improve their quality of life. My intention is to provide a gentle, respectful, and compassionate presence in which nurturing, healing, and recovery may unfold.
Education & Experience
I completed my PhD at the University of Toronto and my BSW and MSW at York University. I am a Private Practice Therapist at Lock 33 Counseling and I am a Clinical Social Worker in a hospital mental health setting. I also work as a Sessional Instructor at University of Toronto, Trent University, and University of Windsor. My certification includes an EMDR Basic Training Certificate and a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Certificate.

I am registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), and I am a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW), EMDR Canada, and the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA).
