About Me

I am guided in my work by recognizing the inherent, profound value in those around me. You are worth listening to, worth taking up space, and worth healing. My career in the mental health field has centered on working with populations that are often overlooked. Trauma and other adverse experiences shape the lives of too many people, and I am committed to journey alongside folks toward healing. It gives me so much joy to learn what motivates people, makes them laugh, and brings them moments of peace and happiness. As for myself, some of these things include experiencing all the sensory elements of baking– the textures, smells, and, of course, tastes. I have a passion for figuring things out, whether a riddle or the most efficient way to tackle a challenge. I love playing games with my family and friends, particularly fast-paced games. It would be an honor to learn from you, to learn what is important to you and what you want your life to look like. Together we can face what is getting in the way.

Education & Experience

I completed my MSW at Boston College with a focus on Older Adults and Families, with a Trauma Certificate. I have experience working in skilled nursing facilities, supporting long term and short term residents and their families. I have spent five years in community mental health, working with folks living with serious mental illness to manage symptoms, increase independence, and live their life to the fullest. I current work in my own private practice, with folks living with trauma. I have a special interest in working with caregivers, as well as those working through spiritual trauma.
