About Me
I take a collaborative, relational approach to therapy, and consider the process to be an invitation to healing through connection - connection with our authentic selves and histories, our relationships and communities, and with our empowered sense of agency in our lives, as well as against systemic harm. I have worked with with adolescents (14-18) and adults in outpatient, educational, and residential treatment settings, making room for clients to explore and address a range of issues, including life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma (PTSD, complex trauma & institutional trauma), substance use/addiction, self-esteem and body image issues. I ground work with clients in compassion and respect, and am affirming of all identities, genders, neurotypes, and abilities. I offer EMDR, and practice from a psychodynamic lens, drawing on Narrative, ACT, harm reduction psychotherapy, and Liberation Health frameworks.
