About Me
I am a clinical social worker with nine years of experience as a therapist and five years of using EMDR. I have trained with Deany Laliotis' Center for Excellence in EMDR Therapy and receive ongoing clinical consultation. Prior to starting my private practice in 2020 I worked for four years at a community clinic where I specialized in working with the Hispanic/Latinx immigrant community. I also specialize in assisting individuals who are experiencing anxiety about the climate and larger ecological crises. I have experience working the with LGBTQI+ community, with fertility issues, childhood trauma that continues to show up in present day, depression, and anxiety.
Education & Experience
I received my MSW from UNC's School of Social Work in Chapel Hill, NC. I received my EMDR basic training from EMDR Consulting and, most recently, received advance training with Deany Laliotis at The Center for Excellence in EMDR Therapy.
