About Me
I am a progressive thinker, creative dreamer and unashamedly optimistic about our human potential for recovery. I thrive when I am connected to the outdoors, my family and my community, when I sing with others, when I dig in the dirt of my garden, and when I dance in my Zumba classes. I love to read and learn, to travel, to cuddle with my cats, and I love it when synchronicity happens.
Education & Experience
Born to two social workers, one with Gestalt training, raised around social justice and feminist values. Undergraduate/UC Davis -Psychology & Women's Studies Graduate/Univ of Chicago-MSW -Clinical focus on children & families Inpatient and children's residential treatment (CA, IL & OR); outpatient, school-based, medical, geriatric care-management; community mental health, supervision, crisis management, foster care/adoption, teen pregnancy & motherhood.
