About Me

In my late 30s, I made a life-changing decision to leave a successful career as a publishing CFO and pursue my passion for helping others. My own experiences with adversity and healing inspired this shift. In my 20s, I began a transformative journey of 10 years in therapy, where, for the first time, I experienced a loving, compassionate presence accompanying me into my most vulnerable and wounded places. That experience helped me reconnect with my authentic self and become the person I am today. This profound impact motivated me to dedicate my life to creating that same space for others—offering a safe, supportive relationship to help clients navigate their own journeys toward healing and wholeness. With over 30 years of experience, I combine evidence-based practices like EMDR, IFS, FLASH, and Polyvagal Therapy with a deep commitment to fostering growth and resilience in the people I work with.

Education & Experience

With over 30 years of experience as a psychotherapist, I specialize in helping individuals, couples, and families heal from trauma and navigate emotional challenges. My integrative approach draws on advanced training in EMDR, FLASH, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Polyvagal-informed practices. I prioritize understanding clients’ lived experiences rather than focusing on diagnostic labels, tailoring therapy to each person’s unique needs. My areas of expertise include trauma, attachment issues, relationship challenges, emotional regulation, and personal growth. While I am experienced across a variety of issues, my primary focus has been Substance Use Disorder (SUD), bringing my integrative approach to support individuals, couples, and families navigating the complexities of addiction and recovery. By combining evidence-based practices with a compassionate and client-centered approach, I strive to create a supportive space where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered to transform their lives.
