Serena Ewe, MA, RCC, CCC, RP (Qualifying)
(She/her)
Preferred Name: Serena
About Me
Serena (she/her) is a BIPOC counsellor who brings a globally informed perspective, having lived in five different countries during her formative years. This experience shapes her deep sensitivity to issues of culture, identity, and belonging. She approaches her work through an integrative, trauma-informed, relational, anti-oppressive, and LGBTQ+-affirming lens. Serena has a special focus on supporting clients navigating challenges in romantic relationships, healing from childhood trauma, exploring attachment and belonging, processing grief, and making sense of Third Culture Kid (TCK) experiences. In addition to her private practice, she works as a counsellor at UBC, supporting undergraduate and graduate students with a wide range of mental health concerns. Outside of her professional life, she finds joy in dance, adventure, humour, and good films, and continually seeks new ways to learn and grow.
