About Me
Shalene (she/her) is a Registered Clinical Counsellor - Approved Clinical Supervisor (RCC-ACS) and owner/founder of Safe Space Counselling Services. She holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and has been working in the field of mental health since 2009. Since 2012, she has been working for non-profit and community agencies providing counselling to individuals, couples and families and in private practice since 2016. In addition to being a therapist, she provides clinical supervision/consultation to Master's-level psychology students and professionals.
