About Me

I am a Colorado transplant of 20 years. Helping is my passion. I guide people on epic life changing voyages through anxiety, depression, grief, terminal illness, trauma and violence. Expeditions through identity exploration, alternative relationships, major life changes, immigration and addiction. I share navigation skills in helping prevent some of the above. Since 2009 when I first started in the human services and mental health field, I have guided hundreds of people along their journey in Spanish or English.

Education & Experience

I have a BA in Psychology with a minor in Ethic studies from the University of Colorado Denver & a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling Psychology from Regis University. I've additional training and experience in domestic violence, social justice advocacy, LGBTQ and ethical non-monogamy, addictions, trauma and disaster mental health counseling. My clinical orientation is primarily person centered. I utilize regularly EMDR, CBT, solution focused, gestalt & existentialism.

Professional & Volunteer Affiliations

I am a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and a member of the Society for Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, and Gender Expansive Identities (SAIGE). I am a founding member of a grassroots group helping to create space and acceptance of the LGBTQ* population in rural Colorado.
