About Me
I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and relational challenges through a somatic, relational, and embodied approach, integrating EMDR with yoga, pranayama (breath control), and meditation—ancient Hindu teachings from my Indian heritage that form the foundation of mindfulness practice. These disciplines cultivate presence, deepen awareness, and nurture both resilience and surrender, offering clients a holistic path to transformation that extends beyond talk therapy. At the heart of my work is the understanding that healing happens from the inside out—through the integration of brain, body, and being. The body holds an innate wisdom, a subtle intelligence that can guide us toward flexibility, emotional stability, and deeper connection with ourselves and others when we learn how to engage it. I remain committed to continual growth as a therapist, staying current with the latest research and advanced training so I can best support those I work with. In addition to my clinical practice, I also offer consultation to therapists, both new and advanced practitioners, seeking EMDR certification and support in strengthening their practice as trauma therapists.
