About Me

I am a licensed professional counselor with 9 years of experience working with adults and trauma. Throughout these years I have recognized the importance of treating my clients as a whole human; and not reducing them to their symptoms or presenting issues. My training has taught me to view my client's symptoms as an "Answer" to childhood attachment longings. My goal is to provide my clients with the opportunity to allow their true authentic selves to shine in a safe and compassionate environment. This is why, in 2020, I started my own practice called Healing Pathways Counseling and Supervision Center to make EMDR more accessible to those who would benefit from the modality. I am certified in the S.A.F.E Approach to Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). The S.A.F.E approach to EMDR is a nonviolent approach to EMDR that uses Attachment Theory and Somatic Processing to address childhood attachment longings and/or significantly distressing memories.
