About Me

Sherri Christopher, MA, LMFT, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Clinical Director of Discovery Play. She specializes in working with trauma across the lifespan, integrating Attachment-Focused EMDR into her work with adolescents and adults. Her clinical approach draws from humanistic and developmental theories, while also incorporating play therapy, attachment theory, and ego state perspectives to support trauma resolution. Sherri is committed to helping clients process overwhelming experiences in a way that restores safety, connection, and hope. Her EMDR work focuses on healing attachment wounds, integrating fragmented parts of the self, and building resilience. In addition to her direct client work, she leads a team of therapists at Discovery Play in providing trauma-informed, developmentally attuned care.
