About Me

Have you ever felt unseen or misunderstood—like no one truly gets the complexity of your experiences? Do you carry the weight of stress, anxiety, or depression while navigating a world that often feels isolating or alienating? As a Black or Brown person, a queer individual, or someone closely connected to a marginalized identity, finding a space where you can fully show up as yourself can feel like an impossible task. I’m Sherri, the founder of S.C. Nash Counseling & Consulting. I want you to know that you are not alone. I created this therapy practice with a deep understanding of how challenging it can be to find a therapist who truly sees you, not just the challenges you face but the richness and resilience within you. I offer more than therapy, I offer a sanctuary. A place where you can unpack the layers of your identity. A place where you can process the pain of racial trauma, explore your gender and relationships, and release the burdens of trauma, adversity, and stress. Whether navigating a high-stressful career, a challenging school career, stagnant and not knowing where to start, untangling the complexities of your personal life, or seeking a way to heal, this is a space where your story is honored, and your growth is prioritized. Healing is not a journey you have to take alone. Together, we’ll create a path that is as unique and multidimensional as you are. A path that leads to self-discovery, peace, and a deeper understanding of your power and purpose. You deserve to feel whole. Let’s start that journey together.
