About Me
With Sherry's passion in fostering mental health provider diversity and retention, Sherry provides EMDR consultations specializing in training therapists to deliver trauma informed evidence-based treatment for BIPOC/AANHPI Veterans and civilians. Education & Experience
Sherry earned her MSW specializing in Military Social Work in 2013 from University of Southern California, where she earned her internship experience at a VA Grant & Per Diem program in Hollywood, CA for Post 9-11 combat homeless veterans. She has worked with Asian Refugees, Immigrants, young adults of immigrant parents who suffered from generational trauma, cultural identity and other chronic mental health condition. Sherry received her trauma training from the National Center for PTSD and the EMDR Trauma Recovery Humanitarian Assistance Program.
