About Me
Are you ready to reclaim your inner strength, resilience, and peace of mind? EMDR therapy can be transformational and help you break free from the grip of anxiety/panic, grief/loss, phobias/fears, relationship struggles, or negative self-beliefs. With over a decade of experience as a therapist, I have witnessed the profound impact that unresolved traumas and distressing experiences can have on an individual's mental and emotional well-being. My approach centers on creating a safe, compassionate & non-judgmental space where you can change your negative thoughts, overwhelming feelings & traumatic memories. Life can present us with many challenges that leave emotional imprints, hindering our ability to thrive. EMDR therapy harnesses the brain's natural ability to process and heal from distressing experiences. Through an 8 step structured process that includes bilateral stimulation, EMDR facilitates healing and positive changes within our mind.
Education & Experience
I received my bachelors in social work in 2014 from Spring Arbor University, located in Eastern Michigan, and continued on to complete a dual master’s degree in mental health counseling and school counseling in 2016. I have worked in private practice for over a decade along with 7 years experience as a school counselor. I founded Balance Counseling and Wellness located in Oldsmar FL which allows me to offer in person and virtual appointments!
