About Me

Stefanie specializes in trauma-informed care and works with concerns including low self-esteem, relationship and family challenges, stress, anger, self-harm behaviors, and suicidal ideation. Her approach is compassionate, collaborative, and holistic, with a strong focus on understanding how early experiences and trauma impact present-day functioning such as how individuals see themselves, relate to others, and cope with distress. .

She is an EMDRIA Certified Therapist and integrates EMDR, Parts Work, CBT, TF-CBT, Choice (Reality) Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy, tailoring treatment to each client’s needs and readiness. Faith-based perspectives are incorporated when welcomed and clinically appropriate. Stefanie also has experience in behavioral health hospital settings. In addition to her clinical work, Stefanie has trained educators and organizations in trauma-informed care and played a key role in establishing the first Trauma-Informed Certified High School and Stand-Alone Child Development Center in South Texas..

Stefanie believes healing happens when people are met with safety, honesty, and compassion. She is committed to helping clients build new skills, strengthen resilience, and move toward lives that feel more grounded, connected, and authentic.
